The Government officially classifies every model on the road into seven Vehicle Excise Duty Tax Bands in accordance to their carbon emissions.

Under the Green Warranty, we reward owners of models in the lowest emitting Tax Bands with a higher discount off the price of cover:

Tax Bands A and B (those emitting less than 120g/km) will receive a 25 percent discount off the normal price of their chosen level of warranty protection.

Those in Groups C and D (121g/km to 165g/km) will be eligible for a 10 percent discount, and finally, those in Group E (166-185 g/km) 5 percent.

Although, the most polluting vehicles in Group F (186-225 g/km) and Group G (226+ g/km) will not receive a discount, they are still able to purchase Green Warranty cover and make the mandatory carbon offset contribution, plus sign up to the Green Motoring Charter.
