Make A Claim

How To Make A Claim

When the worst happens we want making a claim to be as painless as possible.

Please follow the Warranty Direct procedure laid out below and as long as your claim is authorised you'll be reimbursed within days.

STEP 1

If you have broken down, call your preferred recovery company (if you don't have one, why not purchase a Breakdown Recovery policy from us). If your recovery company can't repair your vehicle, arrange for them to take it to one of our preferred network repairers. If this is not possible, ask them to take it to an independent VAT registered garage. This will minimise the costs you will incur.

It is essential you speak to us before any repairs are authorised to commence on the vehicle.

If you have not broken down, please call our claim engineers on 0330 123 3960 and they will be able to recommend a garage from our preferred network. Dealing with one of them allows us to settle the claim direct rather than you having to pay now and wait to be reimbursed.

You will need to supply the following documents:

  • Proof of servicing for your vehicle
  • Your vehicle's current MOT certificate

You can either post to:

Warranty Direct
Fourth Floor
Fountain House
2 Queens Walk
Reading
Berkshire

Or email:

claims@warrantydirect.co.uk

STEP 2

The garage will establish the cause of the fault and our Claims Department will confirm whether the faulty parts are covered by the warranty. Our Claims Department will then need to agree the costs for the repair with the garage.

Claims can be authorised by the Epyx 1-Link system or over the phone; to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

STEP 3

If you have used one of our Preferred Network garages we will settle the bill for any authorised repairs with the garage. If not, then you will need to pay for the repair. and send us the following documentation:

  • The receipted repair invoice

Warranty Direct will settle your claim via direct bank transfer for the agreed amount of the repairs.

If you are experiencing a fault with your vehicle and would like to begin the claims process online, please register a claim below.
